You do not normally need to turn off the boiler before our arrival, as our engineer will complete all necessary safety procedures as part of the service.

Any engineer working on a gas boiler or gas appliance must be Gas Safe Registered. This is a legal requirement in the UK and ensures the engineer is qualified to work safely on gas heating systems.

If you have an oil boiler, your engineer should ideally be OFTEC registered, demonstrating specialist training in oil-fired heating systems.
